`

We have a makeup class scheduled for Sunday, March 4th, at 2:00 pm., in room 413C St. Ambrose Hall.

That's the same classroom we used in the previous three weeks. We will still hold the photo contest so bring your prints. If you need to have any items printed before Sunday, email them to me at dmilani@milanipc.com and try to keep the file size down to about 5 MB or less if possible. If you can't send the files because of their size is too large for your email service, let me know and I will open an FTP site for you.

There is a full eclipse of the moon on Saturday, March 3rd, which should already be underway by sundown. Even though it's short lived, this is a unique opportunity to capture the event on your camera! Use a tripod and experiment with different ISO settings and shutter speeds. Automatic settings will not work well. Take a few wide field shots, using your lowest zoom settings, then see if you can zoom in close with your highest settings. Look to this site for more information if you are interested.

For those who cannot attend the make-up class I will try to hold a separate on-line contest. Look here after this week to get details. You will be able to submit your photos online, instead. Also, I will try to get your last disks to you if you cannot attend the make-up class.

Thank you!
