There is a full eclipse of the moon on Saturday, March 3rd, which should already be underway by sundown. Even though it's short lived, this is a unique opportunity to capture the event on your camera! Use a tripod and experiment with different ISO settings and shutter speeds. Automatic settings will not work well. Take a few wide field shots, using your lowest zoom settings, then see if you can zoom in close with your highest settings. Look to this site for more information if you are interested.

For those who cannot attend the make-up class I will try to hold a separate on-line contest. Look here after this week to get details. You will be able to submit your photos online, instead. Also, I will try to get your last disks to you if you cannot attend the make-up class.
Thank you!
